In December 2004 the project An Integrated System of Social and
Professional Activation for Women - Victims of Violence "From
scratch", was started. FISE is a partner of the organisation
leading the project -Association OPTA
Duration time of the project: December 2004 - July 2005.
Beneficiaries of the project: 170 unemployed women from the Powiat
of Piaseczno, Pruszków and from Warsaw.
The aims of the project are as follows:
[>] professional and social activation of the women - victims of
violence benefiting from social assistance or/and permanently
jobless, as a way of leaving the state of helplessness and the
feeling of a lack of perspectives in life;
[>] creation of a model, an integrated cooperation system
between non-governmental organisations acting in the area of social
and professional activation, as well as local authority units and
intervention or first aid services.
Project activities:
[>] information - education activity,
[>] training "first psychological aid ",
[>] training for the persons implementing the project in the
framework of legal and psychological aspects of violence, starting
and keeping a telephone line,
[>] tutor support,
[>] legal and civil advice,
[>] psychological consultations,
[>] creation of support groups,
[>] motivating-activating trainings,
[>] professional advice,
[>] training "Parachute",
[>] training "Virtual Company".
The project is financed by PARP in the framework of the Phare 2002
Programme - Social and Professional Integration of Groups
Threatened by Exclusion for legal, non-profit entities.
