Local development strategies
Since 1995 FISE has drawn up several Strategies for Development
of Gminas and Polish Cities, as follows:
· Strategy for Municipality and Town of Jarocin
· Strategy for Municipality Makow Mazowiecki
· Strategy for Municipality and Town of Opalenica
· Strategy for Municipality and Town of Darłowo
· Strategy for Municipality Trzcianka
· Strategy for Miedzyrzec Podlaski
· Strategy for Ostroda
· Strategy for Sandomierz
· Strategy for Municipality and town of Trzebnica
· Strategies for the Union of Rural Communes of the Republic
of Poland comprising gminas, such as; Hajnowka, Dubicze Cerkiewne,
Dlutow, Dobczyce, Braniewo, Czerwoniak, Kaliska, Krynica Morska,
Sztutowo, Lipnica Wielka, Poronin.
Our documents form frameworks to plan sustainable development activities. They are designed to identify actions that meet specific needs and concentrate on providing solutions to existing problems using local resources. They comprise all areas of the local economies' branches and all aspects of the community (not only the municipality and public services sphere).
The basic principles guiding our work on Development Strategies
are as follows:
- the Strategy must be based on the choice made by local
government in relation to perceived common values and criteria - of
several crucial goals, essential for the long term
development;
- utilisation of entire governance opportunities,
entrepreneurs' potential, skills and initiatives of citizens,
regardless of the strategic planning limitations of the
Municipality;
- mobilisation and participation of the community around the
strategy implementation process.
Local governments interested in drafting a Development Strategy
in co-operation with FISE are asked to contact.
